Overview
The e-Intelligence Research Group is part of the Smart e-Business Systems Laboratory. Their focus is on data mining and multi-agent systems. The group encompasses researchers whose main research interests lie in the development of smart, intelligent tools for electronic business. Data Mining is a process of discovering valuable information from large amounts of data stored in databases, data warehouses, or other information repositories. This valuable information can be patterns, associations, changes, anomalies and significant structures.

Research Projects
The data mining research focuses on stock market data analysis issues in Capital Markets CRC, including: platform of analyzing and processing stock data, stock data collecting, selection, cleansing and warehousing, stock data mining and deep-knowledge analysis, pattern evaluation and feedback analysis. Multi-agent systems will be used to build complex systems for stock investment planning and build complex data mining systems.
