Overview
The E-service Research Group is part of the Smart e-Business Systems Laboratory. The e-Service research group focuses on research of e-Service evaluation and intelligent group decision support systems (GDSS). The group encompasses researchers whose main research interests lie in the development of smart, intelligent tools for electronic business. The E-service evaluation research includes business E-service cost/benefit analysis and government online service assessment. The intelligent group research addresses interactive fuzzy multi-objective group decision-making methods and online intelligent group decision support system development.

Research Projects
The e-Services group's research focuses on two research themes:
  • Intelligent decision support technologies and soft-computing: Multiple-objective decision support technology, Group decision support technology, Decision model and decision-making with uncertainty, Bilevel decision support technology, Intelligent decision support technology, and related soft-computing approaches.

  • Smart e-Service: E-commerce and E-government service evaluation modeling, E-service development in developing countries, Web-based decision support systems in e-service environment, Web-based recommender systems.

  • A new research goal: to find out how applications and adaptations of existing decision support technology benefit e-Service and business intelligence.

  • Group Decision Support Systems for Fuzzy Multi-objective Decision Problem
    The online GDSS research addresses interactive fuzzy multi-objective group decision-making methods and online intelligent group decision support system development.

    An Evaluation Model for E-commerce (EC) Applications
    The E-service evaluation research includes business E-service cost/benefit analysis and government E-service assessment.
